Fantastic 19th century Indian storage chest made from solid hardwood possibly teak. Decorative iron banding and strapwork wrap around the entire piece with a double catch lock and attractive brass medallions to the front. In excellent condition with wonderful colouring and patina with only marks/ scuffs in line with age and use. A very well proportioned chest/trunk it is perfect coffee table height offering lots of storage.

Depth = 66 cm (26.0") All measurements are done to the widest point .
