This is a useful Indian brass tray top occasional or coffee table with an ebonised folding base dating from the early 20th century. The tray top is finely engraved and punched with bands of geometric designs and a wide band decorated with lions and deer within scrolling foliage.
When not in use the top can be removed, the base folded, and both stacked against a wall in a corner of the room.

Condition: The table is in good condition. The tray top is flat though the lip is a little undulating reflecting its hand-made nature. The folding base is in excellent condition with all spindles and finials intact.
