Huge Regency Mahogany Folding Library Screen

Sorry, this item is now sold. If you are seeking similar, feel free to contact me with your requirements. Thank you.
A huge and spectacular example of a complete, Regency period, mahogany folding library screen (or room divider). More pictures to follow shortly
This is the largest screen of its type that I've come across - complete with all 5 original folds, each united by a beautifully machined, solid mahogany, 'double barreled' hinge mechanism. Solid brass pivots and fixings. Superb quality throughout.
This screen has been restored to a very high standard and with no expense spared. The mahogany has been carefully cleaned and oiled, whilst the upholstery has been completed in a superb, vintage, champagne-coloured moire fabric. This has been edged in over 50 meters of exquisite braid.
The screen is double lined and this, along with the turned, full length hinge mechanism ensures a completely draft-free barrier. It also effectively blocks light.
The size of the screen needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. It stands over 6 ft tall and when fully extended (flat against a wall) measures a monumental 10 ft + across.
Perfect for a master bedroom in a fine period property, or, used for the occasional division of space in a modern open-plan setting.
Viewing highly recommended and encouraged.
Condition -
Very good condition throughout. Please bear in mind however this piece is nearing 200 years old. Therefore the mahogany frame does show some signs of use and wear in places. There is a small (circa 3 inch) area of loss to one panel, but on the scale of things, this really isn't that noticeable at all.
The fabric is flawless.
