Huge pair Chinese Fish Bowl Jardinieres on Stands
Huge pair of mid 20th Century Chinese fish bowl jardinieres on later hardwood stands. Various flower motif's including prunus blossom, plants and leafs on an ochre and blue ground.
Internally illustrated with various fish forms, wonderful condition with no chips or cracks or other issues. The flower patterns continue around the rim of the top of the bowls, leaving overall a really effective and attractive Chinese design.
Red Chinese character mark to the base. An exciting and decorative pair of large jardinieres, these would work wonderfully well in an associated interior design.
This near pair of wood stands for these jardinieres, in our opinion, would look better painted black.
