An Extraordinary and 'Oversized' Vintage Italian Cat Figurine

An amazing piece - quite easily the best and largest of its kind that I've seen. Straight from the latter part of the Mid-Century modern period of Italian ceramic production, c.1975.

The white ceramic body with a sponged, striped design in black, the face detailed with green slit eyes and the long, elongated neck complete with a black and white spotted bow tie..................and why not!?
