A world renowned Howard and Sons Bridgewater armchair with square taper legs and feather filled seat cushion, dating from the 1950's. In original Howard and Sons 'H&S' patterned ticking fabric, raised on mahogany square tapering supports and brass castors. Stamped on the back leg with, 'Howard Chairs, 48 South Audley St, London, 828'. Some cat scratching damage to front left arm and seat base (photographed), otherwise in good condition and extremely comfortable.
