19th Century Scottish turned lime wood treen barrel shaped box of historical importance due to the label attached to the base. The piece has been nicely turned from lime wood with a lift off top section. The top section is hollow at the top suggesting it might have had a pin cushion inside.

There is a small crack to the base otherwise good for age.

The original label attached to the base is a fit faded in places but most of it is legible as can be seen in the photo.
