Heal's Oak Dresser / Bookcase


An Arts & Crafts stained oak dresser by Heal's. A variant of a bookcase designed by Ambrose Heal c.1910 and retailed by Heal's well into the 1930's. This piece is constructed in well figured quarter sawn oak and has an inset ivorine label to its rear. This dresser differs from the bookcase, having cup pegs to the top shelf and plate rack bars to all lower shelves.
