A desk made by Heal & Son of Tottenham Court Road in the 1930s. It is made from lightly limed quarter sawn golden oak. The "2 bottom draws" on the right are in fact 1 deep drawer.The top is inlaid with brown leather which is decorated with an impressed pattern around the edges. The leather is marked and has 2 old cigarette burns but it is original.
