An extremely rare mid 18th century harlequin writing table. The fold-over tea table design conceals a small set of stationery drawers and pigeon holes. On the release of a catch, a spring-loaded mechanism lifts the drawers above the level of the table-top. Elegant cabriole legs with padded feet and original castors. Item No. 0012.
