A particularly handsome mahogany writing table with wonderful colour and patina. It retains the original leather writing surface with good colour. The perimeter of the desk is completed with box wood stringing and satin wood cross banding. The rounded corners with flower pattern. The inlays are continued on the two drawer fronts which both have brass drop handles. The legs are reeded and terminated with a carved foot. All in all, a very stylish utilitarian item.
