DESCRIPTION:
This is a 4-drawer late Victorian haberdashery from around 1890. It is made of mahogany, which has a rich colour and an aged patina. It consists of four deep drawers, each with brass and ebonised bar handles. The top is solid mahogany, showing no splits and has a patina developed over the years. The signs of previous ownership and use are evident but should not be considered flaws in the piece. It’s a solid sturdy piece of antique furniture the drawers have pine sides with the mahogany fronts. This can enhance both commercial and domestic settings. It would be ideal for a kitchen island with large drawers for pans or baking tins, and also suitable for bedrooms, craft rooms, or as a display counter in a boutique.

This is an original piece that has been cleaned and polished. The back is not as highly finished as the front and sides but is acceptable. There are signs of previous ownership throughout the piece due to age and use.
