Gustave Miklos Art Deco Whistling Bird sculpture with cream craquelure glaze. Designed c1929. These are thought to have been possibly produced around 1990, possibly under licence, however, the Gustave Miklos Committee suggest these are not officially authorised Miklos sculptures. Nobody appears to know the truth but these have maintained a solid price at auction and are typically retailed as by Gustave Miklos despite the committee's protestations. Some are marked and some are not. This one is marked. A fine sculpture when all said and done. H.38cm.
