Large carved oak wall bracket c.1910. 16½” x 8¼” semi-circular shelf with a chamfered edge, ideal for a antique clock or piece of sculpture perhaps. Over a deep moulded Gothic style support with crisply carved floral detail, arches and a carved boss at the base below a painted (probably originally gilded) moulding. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
