We have a set of 4 dining chairs by Gordon Russell of Broadway. They are style R 202. They have soft padded seats and backs upholstered in a dark brown boucle material which is original.

The chair frames are in oak. They have been completely stripped and re-polished in their natural colour using a modern lacquer according to our usual schedule.

Made in the 1940s they are in excellent condition for their age.

We use state-of-the-art water borne lacquers as used by manufacturers. They have been certified to FIRA Standard 6250 for surfaces in heavy/severe use. The finishing process we have developed maintains the timber's colour and warmth and enhances figure, grain definition and chatoyance. We have a friendly courier (Matt Sellers) that we use regularly. He is reliable
and will take good care of your purchase. For places he does not go we generally use Proovia or Xpert. Both have been very reliable in the past.
