Gordon Russell Oak Dining Chairs Set of 4
We have a set of 4 dining chairs by Gordon Russell of Broadway. They are style R 202. They have soft padded seats and backs upholstered in a dark brown boucle material which is original.
The chair frames are in oak. They have been completely stripped and re-polished in their natural colour using a modern lacquer according to our usual schedule.
Made in the 1940s they are in excellent condition for their age.
We use state-of-the-art water borne lacquers as used by manufacturers. They have been certified to FIRA Standard 6250 for surfaces in heavy/severe use. The finishing process we have developed maintains the timber's colour and warmth and enhances figure, grain definition and chatoyance.
