Good Solid Oak Pedestal Writing Desk,
Good solid oak pedestal writing desk, English c 1890.
Antique oak pedestal desk of good workable size with ample leg space and 9 smoothly running drawers. Original brass handles and a working key.
The sage green embossed leather writing surface is a replacement and the desk is a good size, being 32" deep.
The back panels are polished allowing room center placement if needed. Dismantles into 3 parts.
A super and most useful oak desk, seen here in best showroom condition, having been thoroughly checked, lightly restored and wax polished to show the beauty of the mellow oak finish.
