A good quality pair of Chippendale style mahogany bookcases. The dentil and moulded cornices above the flame mahogany friezes with beaded edges. The astragal glazed doors with working brass locks & keys and open to 4 adjustable mahogany shelves. The cabinets stand on plinth bases and are raised on short well carved claw and ball legs with acanthus carving to the knees. A true pair and in very good condition.
