A good quality pair of mahogany Globe Wernicke stacking bookcases with original leaded glass up and over doors with fielded panelled doors below. Both raised on plinth bases with shaped bottom drawers which retain their original handles. Only Globe Wernicke Bookcase have metal side fittings which allow the bookcases to be added too if desired and hence their old advertising slogan "Always complete but never finished”. Condition-very good fully cleaned and waxed with polished tops. Dimensions:- Width...34’’/ 86.5cm. Height...68’’/ 173cm. Max.Depth at Base…12’’/ 30.5cm. Interior Shelf Depth... 9.5’’/ 24cm.
