Good quality mahogany 9 drawer pedestal writing desk. English c 1850. This desk has a particularly deep and useful working surface. Good sized kneehole. The colour is rich mahogany with a mellow antique appearance. All the drawers run smoothly and have their original wooden knobs. Key provided. The green leather writing surface is a replacement of good quality and compliments the mahogany well. This desk has a polished back for center of room positioning and stands well. Seen here in best showroom condition, this desk is ready to use.
