Good Quality Mahogany Desk
A particularly good Edwardian mahogany freestanding pedestal desk. The front having 9 graduated drawers with applied mouldings and original brass swan neck handles. The stiles with blind fret and recessed panelled columns. The 2 pedestals with offset egg and dart carved mouldings and standing on short shaped legs with pad feet. The reverse with conforming blind fret and recessed panelled columns. The cross banded top having a decorative carved edge and a replaced hand dyed tan leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. In excellent condition, all mahogany lined with working brass locks and keys. Transports in 3 pieces. More photos available.
