Gilt-Framed Watercolour 'The Shipyard' 1936 N Suhr
Artist - N. Suhr, possibly Nicholas Suhr (1902-), an Australian watercolour artist.
Title - The Shipyard
Medium - Watercolour
Details - Lovely scene of sailing ships in a shipyard. Signed 'N. Suhr' and dated '36 in one lower corner. Written on the back of the frame is '"The Shipyard" Sat - 1st. April 1944 £15.15.0'. Mounted and framed in a vintage gilt glazed frame.
Condition - Overall in good bright condition with good colours. Some small marks to the picture and some slight discolouration. The mount is a little discoloured / tanned and has some grubby marks and some small water stains. The gilt frame has some scuffing and some small areas of loss. The picture is a little loose in the frame.
