Regency mahogany side table, suitable for use as a writing table, in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster c.1820. Solid mahogany top with an unusual coramandel crossbanded border and a moulded edge. Over a single centre drawer with hardwood linings, flanked with dummy drawer fronts either side, with cockbeaded edges and turned knobs. Mahogany veneers and raised mouldings to the apron. Raised on fine crisply turned, tapering and reeded legs. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
