Mahogany extending dining table 19th Century C1850, stamped Gillows. Two removable and two drop down leaves.

The table has a lovely dark colour and stands on quality period castors. Attractive slim melon fluted legs and a generous 4'5" width.

The finishes are in good order, with historic knocks, marks and imperfections buried beneath generations of polish and wax to form a great patina

No loose joints or woodworm.

Overall maximum dimensions: 225cmL (inc. 2 x 55cm leaves) x 133cmW x 74cmH. Without leaves and drop ends folded down the table measures only 59cm long.

In good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, repairs, alterations, wear and imperfections as you would expect... all typical, buried beneath generations of polish and wax to form a great patina. Historical repairs as is to be expected... all is good and strong now. The extension mechanism has a little play, but works as it should. I will include some quality replacement brass forks with the table.
