Gilbert Holiday Pencil Sketch Horse Farrier 1933
A charming pencil sketch of a horse and farrier by Gilbert Holiday (1879-1937). Signed with initials to the image it also has an old inscription attached to the frame on the reverse titled 'At The End Of The Day' and Dated Nov 1933. Gilbert Holiday was a contemporary of Cecil Aldin, Alfred Munnings and Snaffles and served as a reconnaissance officer in The Great War. The image is in good condition, commensurate with age, and has been in the frame some time. The paper is drummed down on board. The inscription to the reverse had been preserved under tape that has perished so is in delicate condition but is still just legible. The image measures 10cm high by 14cm wide, with the frame 26cm by 29.5cm.

You should receive the goods 10 - 14 days after ordering, more time is required for delivery to the Far North and Scotland. The furniture is sent with small independent and friendly couriers, who take very good care of the furniture whilst in transit. Delivery is to the door, but with request the driver will normally assist into a secure place, house, garage, outhouses, etc.
Levels Antiques do not accept responsibility for any damage caused on the customer's premises when the delivery is being made.
Drivers mobile number available for liaising on day of delivery. Only one delivery attempt will be made with arrangements for the drop off being made in advance.

RETURNS
Here at Levels Antiques we abide by the distance selling regulations (updated 13/6/14).
You have the right to cancel your order within 48 hours.
Once item/s are delivered you have 14 days to cancel the order. Return of your purchase(s) must be within 14 days of this cancellation date.
The cost of the item/s and any delivery charge paid by the buyer will be refunded, whilst the cost of returning the item/s is at the buyers’ own expense.

To process your order, we require your name, billing address, delivery address, phone number, email address and credit card information if applicable. We use this information to process your order and, if any questions should arise, to contact you about your order. If we need to contact you, we will contact you via email first.
