A handsome antique Georgian side cabinet or commode in figured mahogany dating from circa 1820. With tambour front cupboard over single large drawer in figured mahogany with boxwood stringing. With attractive brass handle to the front it stands on elegant bracket feet. Lovely age and patina to the wood tambour front in good working order. This piece would have originally started life as a commode / chamber pot cupboard. A high quality piece it would make a lovely side cabinet, bedside unit, hall cupboard or TV unit.
