Georgian Spode Bone China Porcelain Saucer Dish
A fine English porcelain saucer dish, unmarked but attributed to Spode, c.1810, with a very finely painted landscape scene of a drover on horseback with his dog, stopped in conversation with a country lady with a basket over her arm and her goat by her side. The road snakes off into the distance to a large town gatehouse with mountains and forests in the background. A gilt scrolling vine border runs around the rim sandwiched between two thick gilt bands.
It measures 19.2cm (7 1/2") wide and 3.5cm (1 3/8") high.
In very good condition with no damage, repair or restoration and very minor handling wear, mainly just to the gilt on the edge of the rim in places. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
