Georgian Scottish mahogany Ladies dressing box
Good Georgian Scottish ladies fitted dressing box. The box being veneered in very nicely figured mahogany. The top with rosewood and satinwood banding and the two drawers also with matching rosewood banding. Nice shape base moulding with original turned mahogany feet below.
The inside of the box all with the original fittings including mahogany framed mirror which can be set to various angles. The inner top then lifts up to reveal a fitted section beneath. Two drawers to the outside with original turned rosewood knobs.
A very nice piece of Georgian Scottish small antique furniture.
