Pretty Ridgway rectangular pearlware dish with fluted sides and borders and moulded finger holds formed as red roses and leaves. A duck egg blue ground layered with very finely modelled white cameo style decoration of running roses and leaves. In the centre is a square reserve painted with a botanical specimen of Alpine Erinus, marked as such verso. The rim and edging are all in a red-brown.
