A good antique Georgian pine blanket chest dating to circa 1790

Standing on bracket feet with 2 drawers at the front both with brass drop handles and escutcheons

The top with ironwork hinges to the interior and having replacement ironwork carrying handles to the side as per the images

This is a good original Georgian antique piece having a lovely mellow antique patina built up over 2 centuries or so

This blanket chest would look superb at the end of a bed or against a wall in a bedroom or perhaps on a landing or in a hallway wherever you place this lovely antique piece it will bring a touch of Georgian elegance to your home

In good overall condition with marks and wear and scratches commensurate with age and use
