Georgian Period Oak Antique Settle
Georgian Period Oak Antique Settle.
This 18th century antique settle is an unusual model, having five raised and shaped panels in the back rest and the arms rest upon turned supports.
The buttoned squab seat is newly upholstered in hessian and makes this period oak settle comfortable.
Dating from around 1740-50, this antique oak settle was originally from North Wales area and is in great, solid condition.
The front and sides have a decorative wavy shaped apron and the cabriole legs across the front stand on oak balls.
The original oak patina is a very good overall colour.
