Georgian Oak Side Occasional Writing Table Desk
Antique Georgian and later oak side, occasional, writing table, desk or lowboy.
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character.
No loose joints or wobbles.
Magnificent and ornate x stretcher base with with a drawer which slides freely.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Much of this table has been altered, but it does contain some period parts. The overall effect is very pleasing and that of a quality period table. The top and base are a very good colour match and are convincing together.
Overall maximum dimensions 85cmW x 52cmD x 74cmH (58cmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. No significant woodworm. Plywood drawer bottom (some stains inside as one should expect), faux keyhole with no lock.
