Georgian Oak Dower Chest
A Good 18th century Dower Chest in Oak with Walnut cross banding, it has six drawers two of which (top two) are false drawers as the top lifts up, this is the standard formation for these items (dower Chests) it stands on Ogee bracket feet and has plain quarter colomn corners with brass capitals and plinths. The condition is excellent with a pleasing colour and patina.
