George III mahogany tripod wide table c.1780. A particularly good example of the form with a 24″ diameter single piece solid mahogany top of beautiful curling grain. Raised on a crisply turned column and shaped tripod feet with pointed toes. Top can be tipped to vertical when not in use, locking into place with the original brass catch. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
