This bow fronted antique tambour fronted console table is from the Georgian period & is quite unusual. I would date it to around the 1790’s & it’s in good original condition. It’s mahogany, with some fine satinwood inlays & a very elegant piece of antique furniture. There’s a dental moulding just under the top & below that are two tambour fronted doors with some storage inside. The legs are tapered with spade end feet. This piece is really a cross between a table & a cabinet. It has nice small proportions & has loads of character.
