The stool has four square section, moulded legs with inside chamfers supporting the off-set seat frame. Seat frame with concave curved long seat-rails and thumbnail moulding to top. Drop-in seat shaped to match seat rails. Traditionally re-upholstered in a quality neutral fabric and retaining the original horsehair roll. Three stretcher infrastructure and carved decorative scroll-acanthus corner blocks to leg tops. The stool measures 54 cm in width and 40 cm in depth. Seat height at centre is 46 cm.
This stool is in excellent condition commensurate with age. Very minor historic marks and wear as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. All joints solid. Professionally re-upholstered to a high quality. Please see images as these form an important part of the description. Viewing by appointment only.
