This Superb Georgian Mahogany Bureau is of Great Compact Proportions in Lovely condition making it an ideal Practical Piece of antique furniture for the Home or Business. The Bureau Has Four Graduated Drawers, all of Dovetailed Construction with Cockbeading, fitted with brass escutcheons and Oval embossed Handles and Original Paper Linings, sat below a Cleated Fall with a Working Lock to which there is a Key, supported by Two Pull Out Stays with Brass Handles at either end, opening to reveal a fitted interior of Two Central String Inlaid Drawers sat below Six Pigeon Holes Adorned with Shaped Brackets, and Four Graduated String Inlaid Drawers at either end, fitted with brass drop handles, all coming to rest upon Shaped Bracket Feet. This Bureau is an ideal size, not to big as some can be, making them a bit overpowering.
