Georgian Mahogany Serpentine Server Table
Beautifully elegant Georgian mahogany serpentine server table with a moulded edge and four faux drawers below, standing of simple tapered legs, circa 1830 and in lovely original condition.
Wonderful shape and proportions, fabulous colour with the figured mahogany veneers to the faux drawers, finished with cast brass laurel ring handles.
This would work well as a dining room server table, but also a large console or display table.
Measuring:
35 inches or 89 cm high
70 1/2 inches or 179 cm wide at the back
72 1/2 inches or 184 cm wide at the front
20 3/4 inches or 53 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
