Fine little Georgian mahogany clothes press c.1800. Top section fitted with five original sliding shelves (which could be easily removed to accomodate a hanging rail) over a base divided into four small drawers. Exceptional door panels featuring well figured, matched, arch top veneers of unusual size with crossbanded and inlaid detail. Crisply carved dental cornice, brass door trim and tall bracket feet. Solid mahogany sides and oak lininigs to the drawers and slides. Excellent colour and contition, retaining the original handles and key.
