Georgian Mahogany Extending D End Dining Table

A lovely Georgian dining table. We date this table to the first half of the 19th century.
The table sits on ten slightly downward tapered legs and comes in three parts, the centre drop leaf table and two D end antique tables.
The table has been recently french polished and consists of a centre rectangular table with a drop leaf to either side. The centre table has an oblong shape when opened. The drop leaves are supported by a section that swings out at each side. There are two separate D end antique tables that each attach to the opened drop leaves.
The main table has a height of 28" (72cm), an overall length of 104" (264cm) and a width of 48" (122cm).
Height to the underside of the rail is 27.5” (70cm) and each D end has a depth of 22" (56cm).
This lovely large mahogany drop leaf dining table remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some minor surface indentations and a small ring mark to the table top from past use. There are a couple of old repairs.
This remains a very stylish and elegant table. It can easily be split and stored in smaller spaces when not required. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
