Beautiful George III mahogany chest on chest c.1800. With two short drawers over seven long drawers of graduated height. Crisp moulded cornice with a crossbanded frieze continued on the sides. Matched mahogany veneered drawer fronts with solid mahogany groundwork, cockbeaded edges and the original heavy brass swan neck handles. Ogee mouldings to the waist and base. Raised on shaped bracket feet front and rear. Superior quality with solid mahogany sides and oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
