A Georgian Mahogany Bureau Bookcase c 1800.
The bureau bookcase is of a good size and proportions.
Featuring a Greek key moulded cornice over a pear-drop frieze and astragal glazed doors...The doors open do reveal an adjustable shelved bookcase.
The base section with four beaded drawers fitted with swan neck handles, the bureau fall opens to reveal an arrangement of small drawers and pigeon holes.
Standing on shaped bracket feet this really is a great classical storage piece. Does havew some period restorations but these only add to the character.
Measuring 86" High x 41.25" Wide x 20.15 Deep.
