A delightful Georgian mahogany two-tier dumb waiter, having nice quality carved spiral twist uprights and a carved spiral twist column to the centre upon tripod legs. Dumb waiters were used alongside the main dining table in the 18th century so diners could reach for extra dishes without the requirement of a servant. Circa 1780
