Antique large 9 foot Georgian C1800 mahogany extending dining table, which can have a number of uses including as a pair of console antique tables or a circular window table.

This is an amazing and versatile table, that is full of age, charm and character.

The top has been refinished fairly recently, but still retains much of its age and patina.

Splits into five parts for transport.

Overall maximum dimensions

As a dining table 281cmL (or 228cmL, 225cmL, or 172cmL) x 122cmW x 72cmH (58cmH knee hole).

As a pair of console antique tables, each 122cmW x 59cmD x 72cmH.

As a circular window table122cm diameter x 72cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There is historical cracking where the legs meet the 'D' end friezes and there is some cracking to the table top, but all is now solid, stable and well glued. There are later brass table joining forks. There are some historic woodworm holes in the oak components of the gateleg mechanism (as is nearly always the way), but this is believed to be extinct and has been treated for good measure.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
