Georgian 19C inlaid burr walnut chest of drawers
Antique small Georgian and later 19C burr walnut chest of drawers with inlay and crossbanding.
This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character.
Sought after compact proportions.
The drawers slide freely (some internal staining as is to be expected).
No significant woodworm.
Overall maximum dimensions 97.5cmW x 49cmD x 79cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Internal marks and stains to the drawers as usual. No keys and the locks are untested. There has been historical restoration, veneer alterations and the brassware is later (some mounts pass through lock casings).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
