This is an example of a superb quality antique oak George III Welsh pot board dresser base, circa 1780 originating from the Conwy Valley area in North Wales. The dresser base consists of three large drawers with the blind fretwork brass escutcheons and brass swan neck handles. All drawers are cock-beaded and the side’s features inset panels. The outer drawers have sham escutcheons. The central small drawer is a sham drawer whereas the two small corner drawers are usable. Below the drawers there is an arcaded frieze. The drawers are hand dovetailed and with pine linings. The outer drawers feature faux locks whereas the central drawer locks and has a working key. There is a plate beaded support on the top of the dresser. The dresser sits on turned front legs and straight legs to the back there are inset panels to the sides. Below sits a two plank pot-board below. The dresser boasts a rich colour.

This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room, dining room, home office or kitchen and could be use as a bench or coffee table. Condition Report
The item is in excellent condition commensurate with its age. Old replacement handles. There is an old working key to the central draw. Nominal old use marks and to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Some minor restoration to central leg a long time ago. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. You will be given a refund excluding the delivery cost as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is not required to cover the cost of returning the item if the item is returned at the point of delivery. If the item is delivered and left with the customer, a return fee will apply (same cost as the delivery fee). We collect returns using our own specialist furniture delivery company. We do not accept returns via a courier service (due to experience of damaged items in transit). This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
