Fabulous late Georgian mahogany wardrobe or linen press c.1800. Two door press cupboard top with four sliding shelves on the original chest of drawers base with two short and two long drawers. Exceptional flame mahogany veneers to the front, with contrasting satinwood crossbanding and inlays in the manner of Thomas Sheraton. Crisply moulded cornice, oval door panels, brass door trim and tall bracket feet to the front and rear. Mahogany groundwork to the doors, solid mahogany sides and drawer linings. The handles are excellent quality period replacements. Excellent condition, restored and polished in our workshops. Key supplied. Splits into two pieces for ease of delivery. Note the slides could be easily removed to provide useful hanging space.
