An excellent quality George 111 period mahogany kneehole dressing or side table. The well figured top is cross banded in mahogany, The five oak lined drawers have finely figured veneered fronts which surround a generously sized kneehole. The brass handles are old replacements. The table stands on tapered legs with spade feet. The condition throughout is excellent. Sizes: 42”(107cms) wide, 21”(52cms) deep, 31 ¾ “(80cms) high. Height of kneehole: 24 ½ “(62cms). Date circa 1800. I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
