An elegant George III mahogany two tier side table with three working drawers and three faux drawers in good restored condition, circa 1790.

This rare Georgian design has a solid mahogany top above an arrangement of drawers consisting of one long drawer at the front and a drawer to each narrow side supported on tapered square section legs connected by a lower galleried, concave-shaped shelf and resting on brass castors.

Condition: This beautiful side table has been sympathetically restored and is in wonderful condition throughout, its relatively small size making it a useful table for a variety of rooms in the home. Eleven of the twelve brass knobs on the drawer fronts and all castors are believed to be original. One brass knob is a replacement of similar but not identical design. There are some minor marks and stains as you might expect on a 200 plus year old table, the most obvious being a dark stain on the top right of the front elevation.
