Circa 1800, impressive George III drum table in flamed Spanish mahogany. The circular top has mahogany cross banding and a russet coloured, gilt tooled leather writing surface. The frieze with 8 bow front drawers, with 4 of them as real and 4 as dummy drawers with original twin brass knobs. This is all supported on a turned column with four outswept fluted legs on original cast brass lion claw castors.
