A George III mahogany bureau, the fall front with inlaid decoration above two short and three long drawers retaining the original brass handles and backplates, on ogee bracket feet. The theme of inlaid decoration on the fall is continued inside the bureau with a double fitted interior, the two doors inlaid with shell motifs and all the drawers chequer banded. This is a real Gentleman’s Bureau!
